ABOUT DANNEN DEVELOPMENT
Josh Becker is a real estate professional with 15 years of experience including 13 in real estate development. He has a BS in Accounting from the University of Utah and a MBA from the University of Utah with an emphasis in Accounting. Josh started his career as a residential real estate agent and was ranked among the top 10% of agents in the US. Josh then turned to land acquisition and development. Josh has led the due diligence, entitlement, and infrastructure improvements on countless projects in Utah and Texas. He has led the acquisition and development teams for 3 of the top 15 national builders, most recently DR Horton, America’s largest home builder. While at DR Horton, Josh was head of Acquisition in Austin where he led the team responsible for the acquisition and development of 2,500 lots per year, which accounts for 20% of the Austin market. He has successfully completed projects involving single family lots, light commercial, special purpose commercial, mixed use, and multi-family.
Josh has built several residential, office and multi-family projects in Austin, and is currently working on a 4 multifamily and office developments in Leander and Cedar Park. Josh currently owns 3 different multi-family projects totaling 188 units that are under construction and has significant development experience.
Ryan brings extensive managerial experience in homebuilding and land development and a record of success in getting initiatives off the ground and flourishing. Most recently, Ryan served in a Division Manager role for a top 100 regional homebuilding company and prior to that as a Land Acquisition Manager for top 10 national home builder in the Austin area. Ryan has spent over 12 years in management, serving in many different roles including Vice President of Sales, Land Acquisition Manager, Construction Superintendent, Construction Project Manager, New Home Sales Professional, and Director of Sales and Marketing. Ryan has overseen the acquisition and development of over 800 single family lots and the construction of over 1,000 single and multi-family homes in the Central Texas area.
In addition to his work in the homebuilding and development industries, Ryan spent two years coaching collegiate baseball.
Ryan has served on numerous boards in leadership roles including service as chair of the Sales and Marketing Council at the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. He holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts from the Louisiana Tech University, as well as an AA from Temple College.
